How Tailored.ie makes money
Tailored.ie is operated by Nova Vela OÜ and may charge participating tailors a lead-access fee when Brian approves a valid quote and unlocks the client’s contact details. The first 20 providers activated under the v2 pilot receive five valid introductions free; later approved providers receive three. Paid packs are not active.
No tailor pays to be listed, prioritised or featured. We do not take a percentage of completed work. A provider’s payment status or credit balance never changes editorial content, directory position or matching rank. Participating providers must accept the current supplier terms.
Editorial independence
Listings describe each tailor's actual capability, price band, and speciality, based on public information + our own visits and enquiries. A listing is not a recommendation; it's an accurate description. If a tailor disputes something in their listing, we'll verify and either correct a factual error or leave the editorial assessment as it stands.
Tailor matching
When a buyer submits an enquiry, we may ask focused follow-up questions and then rank eligible providers by category, region, budget, timing/capacity and prior responsiveness. An anonymous brief may be offered to up to three providers at once. A provider can reserve and submit a quote without seeing contact details. Contact is released only after Brian approves a valid quote and one free lead credit is used.
Buyer's guides
Guides are written to be genuinely useful to a first-time bespoke buyer. We don't accept guest posts, paid placements, or "expert contributions" from suppliers. Prices and timelines are updated annually or when the market moves.
Corrections
Email hello@tailored.ie. We correct factual errors promptly and publicly. Editorial judgements may be updated but not retracted — we'll append notes rather than silently overwrite.
